Join the International Gita Quiz Contest and showcase your Bhagavad Gita knowledge!
Date of online quiz contest:
From 8th November 2025 to 15th December 2025.
Who can participate? Open to all:
  • Category A Junior: Below 18 years of age.
  • Category B Senior: Above 18 years & above.

  • Shri Bhagavad Geetha - Junior Kannada (Category A) - For Below 18 years of age.
  • Shri Bhagavad Geetha - Junior English (Category A) - For Below 18 years of age.
  • Shri Bhagavad Geetha - Senior Kannada (Category B) - For Above 18 years & above.
  • Shri Bhagavad Geetha - Senior English (Category B) - For Above 18 years & above.
    • Language Preference: English and Kannada
  • Participants can choose to write the quiz in either Kannada or English.
    • Registration Process:
  • All participants need to register online to take up the quiz. Please use the QR code or URL https://sriputhige.org/bruhat-geetotsava/
  • All participants must register online before writing the quiz.
  • Ensure all the details are correctly filled during the registration.
  • Enter valid email and mobile number for communication.
  • Email ID and Mobile number is mandatory for registration and only one registration is allowed per email ID.
  • Valid email and mobile numbers are not given, It is NOT possible to communicate with you
  • Registered users will have access to Bhagavad Gita reference materials, which is the basis for the quiz.
    • Quiz Rounds:
  • There will be two (2) rounds of quiz competition
  • Round 1 - Know Gita: Onlize quiz for all registered participants. Date: 8th November to 15th December 2025 2025
  • Final Round - Appreciate Gita: Top Performers (including Junior and Senior in Kanada and English) from Round 1 will compete in an oral quiz over video conferencing. Date: 16th December - 25th December 2025
  • Top Performers selected for final round will be informed throuh Email
    • How to prepare for the quiz?
  • Read all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita from the reference books provided. We recommend going through all the three levels of books to score best in all rounds of the quiz.

  • Githamrutha Saara (Kannada), By His Holiness Shri Shri Sujnendra Theertha Swamiji
  • Simple meaning for each sloka written by Sri Bannanje Govindacharya (English)
  • Simple meaning for each sloka written by Sri Bannanje Ramacharya (Kannada)
  • Geetaadhyaaya Bhava Parichaya (Kannada) by Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Udupi Sri Puthige Matha
  • The Bhava Behind Bhagavad Gita (English) by Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Udupi Sri Puthige Matha
  • Geeta Sarodhara (Kannada and English) by Sri Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Udupi Pejawar Matha.
    • Reference books are made available to registered candidates.
    Prizes and Recognition:
  • ₹1 Lakh for 1st Prize Winners (For Kannada and English together) in each category Junior and Senior.
  • ₹75,000, ₹50,000, and ₹25,000 for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th prizes in each category.
  • All participants will receive a digital certificate of participation.
    • Evaluation criteria:
  • Evaluation will be based on the number of correct answers and the time taken to complete the quiz.
  • In the oral round, both the accuracy of the answer and confidence in understanding will be evaluated.
  • The Judge's decision is final for selecting the qualified candidates.
    • Important considerations:
  • Candidates can take the quiz only once after registration. If you exit in between without completing, it will be considered as completed.
  • Candidates should read all instructions clearly before taking the quiz.
  • The second chance will not be given for any reason. Candidates to ensure there are no interruptions due to power cuts, internet or any other technical issues while taking the quiz
  • All communication will be conducted through the registered email. Please monitor your inbox regularly. There will be no WhatsApp or phone call reminders for the exam or any other communications.

    • Quiz Format:
  • There are two categories (Junior and Senior) of quizzes in Kannada and English language:Shre Bhagavad Geetha
  • Questions will be displayed one by one, randomly.
  • For Senior category 100 questions will be asked
  • For Junior category 60 questions will be asked
  • Each question will be having a mark
  • Each question will have a time limit.
  • Question will get disappeared after the time limit.
  • If you do not answer within the given time, the question will be considered as "Not answered".
  • You can write any quiz only one time
    • Timing:
  • Pay attention to the timing of each question.
  • Try to answer the questions within the allotted time.
    • Scoring:
  • Only the questions answered correctly will be added to your score.
    • Results:
  • If you pass in the quiz then you can view and download your e-certificate.
    • Winners:
  • For the 1st Round Toppers will be decided based on the highest score and the least amount of time taken.
  • For the Final Round Toppers will be decided by the Quiz Masters/Judges.
  • The decision of the Shri Puthige Paryaya Shri Krishna Matha Administrator will be the final.
  • Prize winners will be informed by the Shri Puthige Paryaya Shri Krishna Matha Administrator through email OR Phone.

  • ಕೊನೆಯ ಹಂತ : (Appreciate Gita): ಎರಡನೇ ಸುತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ 30 (ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗಗಳು ಸೇರಿಸಿ) ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದಿನಾಂಕ: ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 16, 2025 ರಿಂದ , ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 25, 2025 ರವರೆಗೆ

  • ನೋಂದಣಿಗಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಸಿದ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತಾದ 18 ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿರಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ನಾವು ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂರು ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿರಿ.

    • ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ:
